Women/ Youth Sewing Program.
Uganda is one of the countries where women are segregated and they have no equal opportunities with men in the economy and the job market. Culturally women in Uganda are considered to be weak, this perception about women has left many women economically backward , vulnerable and prone to violence. The objective of the project is to help women become economically productive and sustainable through training them to have hands on in sewing and tailoring skills and to know their rights .
● We target young women and single mothers in the rural areas of Uganda
● Though the sewing project , women will have access to financial boost through selling their tailored and sewed materials
● We want to raise over fifty sewing machines for women to learn on .
● We want to construct sewing training center for over 2000 women

The thunderous noises from the sewing machines we have scared poverty away from some of our members with the few machines we have . We are glad that the women/Youth have moved from strength to strength and now slowly beginning to pull their lives/families from the shameful dungeons of abject poverty they have been languishing in
Long-Term Impact
The sewing program will continue so that the unemployed youth/ women will get employment and they can earn money from their home itself.So far their story is a testimony of the old adage about God that; He has good plans for His people. We are grateful to all those who have been part of this empowerment journey. Your acts of compassion have now become an embodiment of hope for many women and Youth in Uganda.
